IEEE IAS/PELS SBC CET in collaboration with IEEE PES SBC CET, conducted an online open Quiz competition named “SparkWIZ” as part of IEEE PELS Day 2021 celebrations. The topic for the quiz was Electrical and Electronics Engineering and was conducted on a timed Google form which was open for 24 hours.

The quiz consisted of 15 questions, each of 10 marks, and the participants were required to submit it within 11 minutes. Late submitters and the ones who were found guilty of malpractice were disqualified. The winners were judged on the basis of total marks scored and time taken to complete the quiz. Out of 86 qualified participants the winners are:

First place: Sreehari K N of Government Model Engineering College

Second place: Beril Ninan of Saintgits College of Engineering

Third place: Anupama Vidyasagar of Federal Institute of Science and Technology

The winning participants were awarded Cash prizes of ₹500 for First place, ₹300 for Second place and ₹100 for Third place as well as Certificates of Appreciation. Certificates of Participation were given to all qualified participants.
