WIE Affinity Group of IEEE SB CET organised a Webinar, ‘Foresight’. The Webinar session was taken by Dakshina Vinod, an Instrumentation Engineer at Engineers India Limited and a graduate from College of Engineering, Trivandrum.

With the pandemic going on and with college placements in full swing, preparations for interviews might seem like a daunting task. From the right things to put up on your CV to acing that confidence level, we are all plagued with many questions. Internships and job interviews require a little bit of practice and preparation to make sure that you absolutely nail them. Keeping this in mind, WIE Affinity Group of IEEE SB CET decided to organize a Webinar on the same. Dakshina Vinod, currently an Instrumentation Engineer at Engineers India Limited and College of Engineering, Trivandrum graduate handled the session. The session was organized on Google Meet Platform. She took the participants through a very detailed PowerPoint Presentation as she explained the various steps involved in the selection procedure as well as the preparation beforehand. She shared her own experience regarding the various interviews that she had attempted and also gave tips of how to create an almost perfect resume. At the end, questions were entertained and there was an interactive session causing the event to extend upto around 08:30 pm. There was participation from over 80 students.
