WIE Affinity Group of IEEE SB CET organised a Webinar on ‘Blogging through the block’. The Webinar session was handled by Anjana Gopakumar, a renowned Malayali blogger from Trivandrum.

Chasing dreams can be scary even though we are gifted with unique creative talents and passion. Some run up against the various obstacles. Some are left behind. Anjana Gopakumar is someone who dared to chase after her dreams and WIE Affinity Group of IEEE SB CET wanted to bring her in to do a Webinar on her story. She is a renowned Malayali blogger, one of the administrators of Eat at Trivandrum and owner of blog, ‘Thank god i’m fat’. She is also a columnist for ‘onmanorama’. She cooks up a delicious meal every time with her passionate words. For the Webinar, she spoke about the creative block we all encounter in our artistic pursuits and how to trudge through it. She also showed a few inspiring video snippets during the Webinar. This Webinar hoped to give many the inspiration to start their own blog or stories or learn something they always wanted to but was too scared to. The event took place via Zoom app from 7:00 pm to around 8:15 pm. The whole session was very interactive and the participants had their videos turned on and kept interacting with her throughout the talk. At the end of the talk, there was a question answer session where many people asked her doubts and she answered them beautifully. Around 23 people attended the session. All in all, it was a very wholesome event.
