The Power and Energy Society of IEEE SB CET hosted the IEEE PES Membership Development Session, an initiative by IEEE PES Kerala Chapter on the 1 st of October, from 7.00 to 8.00 PM IST.

The session began with an introductory presentation by Nithin V.M, PES Student Representative, in which he talked about PES Kerala Chapter and its activities. Hamna Sunil, Women In Power Student Representative, described more about the Power and Energy Society and also about the benefits of Women In Power membership. She also introduced the professional and student executive committee members. Madhu Krishnan A.P, Membership Development Coordinator, gave a small session about PES membership and its benefits. He made the session more interesting with a kahoot quiz on IEEE and its societies. The whole session was quite interesting and gave the attendees an idea about the opportunities in the field and benefits of being an IEEE PES member.
