WIE Affinity Group of IEEE SB CET organised a Webinar on ‘Pioneerdom’. The Webinar session was taken by Aravindhan Anbazhagan, Chairperson at IEEE Madras Young Professionals, a budding Entrepreneur and an eminent speaker.

When people talk about Entrepreneurship, for most people, the first thing that comes to their mind is the high capital associated with it and the monetary benefits you reap. But more and more people have been pursuing businesses to find their own success in the process of helping others. And this is what Social Entrepreneurship is all about. Developing, Funding and Implementing solutions to social, cultural or environmental issues. The speaker, Aravindhan Anbazhagan is one such budding Entrepreneur who believes in the vision that quality and relevant education imparted through practical skills can empower each and every student in the world and that is what his venture, EduRise Global is all about. He is also a Computer Science graduate but because of his interest and passion towards Education, he took up teaching afterwards. He is also a TED speaker. He spoke about the various types of businesses and the various organizations he has been a part of and the work he has done. The talk was mainly aimed at giving the young, fresh minds a kick start on the ventures that they wanted to pursue and give tips and tricks on how to get there, slowly but steadily.
