Cryptex was an online puzzle series conducted by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society CET SB. It was a 3-week long puzzle series with one puzzle per week. The puzzles were released on every Saturday and the participants were asked to submit the answers on or before each week’s Tuesday.

The first week puzzle was a Crossword puzzle consisting of 10 informative questions covering current trends in Robotics. The second week puzzle was Treasure Hunt with a tricky final answer which only a few solved. The hints to solve the puzzle were posted on the official Instagram page of IEEE CET SB. The third week puzzle was called Decrypt. It was the most difficult and interesting puzzle which no one solved. Mathew J. Koikara of College of Engineering Trivandrum won the Cryptex puzzle series with a total of 20 points. The questions were framed by Sanjay S. Nair and Samuel Zachariah. Aparna Kiran and Sanjay S. Nair coordinated the whole puzzle series. Instagram was the social medium used to publish the events details and links.
