Robotics and Automation Society of IEEE SB CET conducted an online three-day Workshop on Object Tracking using OpenCV. The workshop was only open to the students of CET.

OpenCV using Python was introduced. Major topics such as Object tracking and Motion detection along with other basic concepts were covered. The resources were provided via WhatsApp and Emails. Reference links and videos were provided to understand the concepts well. Exercise questions called Tasks were given on each day of the workshop based on that day’s topics to ease the learning. The students actively participated in the workshop and submitted the tasks on time. Submissions of the tasks were made via Emails.

The workshop was spearheaded by Aparna Kiran and Sanjay S Nair along with Samuel Zacharia and Sree Vishakh as mentors. Active interaction between the participants and the mentors were ensured and further doubts were clarified. IEEE Certificates will be provided only to the participants who have solved at least two Tasks given during the workshop.
